Services on this project

For a residential subdivision at Mudgee, ESEA prepared a riparian Vegetation Management Plan (VMP), finalised in June 2026, that designed two management zones around a proposed low-flow channel and high-flow easement.

What was different about this VMP?

The drainage engineering and the ecological rehabilitation were designed together rather than in sequence. The management zones follow the low-flow channel and the high-flow easement, so the revegetation works with the drainage design instead of being fitted around it afterwards.

The revegetation reference

White Box shrubby open forest was used as the revegetation reference, which sets the target species and structure for the planting and the monitoring that follows. See vegetation management plans.

Other VMPs prepared by ESEA include the Stage 1 VMP at Richards Precinct, Riverstone West and the VMP for Advance Street, Schofields.
